Welcome to the home of April M Events.
Hey, I’m April, and I am in the business of events. Let me start by saying congratulations on your engagement, which I am sure is why you have joined me on this journey.
I have been a registered marriage celebrant since January 2022. I started my journey to become a celebrant while I was working as a wedding coordinator. My very first wedding was two of my favourite people, it was such a blessing to be able to join two people who I love, together in marriage. Whether I know you personally, or we have only just met, it would be an honour to be part of your big day.

If you are after a celebrant who is a team player right from the start, can offer you guidance through the process of both planning your event and preparing to get married, then I am your celebrant. I aim to make you and your guests feel comfortable at your ceremony with plenty of laughs, and of course, stories about your love.

Service Inclusions
Ceremony Fee - $850.00
As your marriage celebrant it is my role to:

Explain all the legal documentation and the requirements of you and your partner

Help write a ceremony that is perfect for you and your partner

Help you decide on the choice of ceremony

Be a friendly face for any questions relating to your wedding ceremony.
Initially, I would love to meet you in person to see if I am right for you, but I also offer appointments virtually.
This is a no obligation consultation meeting.
The legal process starts with your NOIM (Notice of Intended Marriage), and once that has been completed (at least 30 days prior to your ceremony) we can get underway in creating your perfect ceremony.
I am thrilled that all couples in love can now be legally married in Australia.
The following inclusions apply to your booking,

The preparation of all legal documents, including your Notice of Intended Marriage, as well as submitting your completed paperwork after your ceremony

Up to three in person or virtual pre-wedding meetings

A rehearsal prior to your wedding day, ideally this will take place at the time of your ceremony, and at the venue

A choice of your ceremony type (I will provide the types of ceremonies to you upon confirmation of booking). Based on this selection, a custom ceremony will be designed in collaboration with you and your partner

Relationship education information (it's a legal requirement for all Authorised Marriage Celebrants to provide this)

Use of my PA system for the ceremony

Performance of personalised marriage ceremony with an unlimited number of guests

Presentation of high quality, “commemorative” marriage certificate on the day of the wedding (note: this is not a legal document)

Travel within 50km of Perth CBD included (every 50km outside of the Perth CBD is an additional $50.00)
I also have an arbour, florals and signing table available for hire.

Aprils insider knowledge of the wedding industry was invaluable to us throughout our wedding planning. She went above and beyond assisting us with various elements of the entire wedding process.
Due to unforeseen circumstances our original MC was no longer available and with roughly 3 days notice April was a life saver and stepped up into that position also for us!
She ensured to check in with me during the evening to make sure my dreams of the day were coming true and was ready to assist any time unavoidable hiccups occurred and steered everything back on track!
We received so many compliments about April from our guests, highlighting her fantastic personality, presence and spirit.
Organised, reliable, knowledgeable, fun, loving , caring and overall just beyond fantastic 5 stars!
