ABOUT ME
Hey, I'm April!
I’m a registered marriage celebrant, master of ceremonies, and event professional based in Perth, WA. I’ve been in the events business for over a decade, and since becoming a celebrant in January 2022, I’ve had the honour of officiating weddings that are heartfelt, hilarious, and deeply personal. My journey began while working as a wedding coordinator, and my very first ceremony was for two of my favourite people - a moment that confirmed I’d found my calling.
As a celebrant and MC, I offer custom ceremonies, expert event coordination, and a calm, confident presence that keeps everything running smoothly. I love crafting scripts that feel like you—whether tender, cheeky, or full of surprises. I also offer wedding signage, gifts, and relationship education resources to support you beyond the ceremony.
Whether we’ve known each other for years or are meeting for the first time, I bring warmth, professionalism, and a genuine love for people to every event. I’m a team player from the start, guiding you through the planning process and helping you feel confident, relaxed, and celebrated at whatever occasion.
A few fun facts about me:
- I got married at Perth Zoo in May 2023—on the wettest day of the year!
- I’m a proud mum to my daughter, born in 2025, and two fur babies, Winnie and Jett.
- I play both netball and American football (yes, really).
- I used to rock blue hair.
- I’m a Harry Potter fan and a hot chocolate enthusiast.
